Keanu Reeves is considered one of the most friendly and down-to-earth Hollywood celebrities, and it is almost unheard of that he might get angry. In an Instagram post by the handle talent agency guide, Reeves leaves what looks like a shopping mall. According to the description in the Instagram post, the person harassing Keanu Reeves (one of the few actors nobody hates) was not a typical fan but a reviled professional autograph hunter. Autograph hunters are notoriously aggressive in pursuing official autographs by celebrities. These craven hunters are known to want autographs for sale purposes, selling them for exorbitant price tags on places like eBay.
Perhaps Keanu was keenly aware that the ‘fan’ was, in fact, one of these autograph hunters. With this knowledge, it would make sense why Reeves lost his cool with the individual. There have been plenty of other instances where Keanu was calm, friendly and recollected as he happily signed autographs.
Things Get Heated Between Keanu Reeves and The Autograph Hunter
As Keanu leaves the building in the video, you can hear him shouting at the person, “…I need some f***king time for myself, leave me the f**k alone!” The individual pestering Reeves responds to his outburst by saying, “I see your point, man.” An exacerbated and highly annoyed Keanu replies, “No, you don’t see the f***king point, man!”
Online Fans Voice Their Displeasure at the ‘Fan’
In the same online post from Talent Agency Guide, most fan reactions are livid and annoyed with the guy for harassing Reeves. One handle named stonelovestone commented, “He (Keanu) is notoriously friendly and cool with his fans; this dude (autograph hunter) must’ve sucked!” Another fan of Keanu was even more upset, wwestgate_s1, said, “You finally did it. Congratulations, you pushed a notoriously nice guy into dropping the f-bomb; hope you’re proud of yourself.”

He has a quiet charisma and mystique that adds to his charm and likeability, but we could never imagine Keanu could lose his calm demeanour and drop vitriolic f-bombs on someone.

The strain of dealing with a crazed stalker and the constant pursuit by autograph hunters might have taken their toll on the star.

regarding keanu reeves, he is involved in this terrible Hollywood business. that is why he is not such a good person as his agents want him to be. the poor autograph hunter, the way he yells at him as if he is dirt. You don’t do something like that. Without these fans , he would not have his million dollar lifestyle, he should have apologized publicly. In his anger, he could have hurt someone.

No human being would expect him to be a celebrity 24/7. A Moron would expect that, but not an average, working class person.

People need to realize that folks like Keanu just want to live their lives. It just happens that their jobs are entertainers and are in the spotlight all the time. For as much as I like Keanu Reeves as an actor I could never imagine myself going up and asking for a autograph if I seen him in public. He does so much good for society with donations that he does not want attention for. If more people lived their lives like him this world would be a much better place. I can understand his frustration and was 100% in the right.
Why we even call ourselves “HOME SAPIENS”? if we are always behaving like animals (and I’m disrespecting the animal kingdom by calling ourselves ANIMALS) since they behave much better that we do as humas that we are. This actor is one of the nicest human beings you can even encounter, and you “FAN” cannot leave the man alone just so he can have some space to himself ones in a blue moon……….. Seriously? I just don’t get it. why, why and why are we behaving this badly? This actor is always giving time to his fans for pictures, autograph even his seat in a bus or sub, so why the one time that he asks to have some space or be in his merry way he is not allowed? and we wonder why this world is going down the drain. No Keanu Reeves does not overreact. There are just times when autograph hunting is not ok. When an actor appears at a premiere or like Keanu after a concert, it is fine to ask for an autograph – the rest of the time, please just leave them alone. It must be really hard if day in day out people want pictures with you or an autograph.
Mr. Reeves is always very nice to everybody, fans, strangers and many more – but if you take it to far you see what happens.

Well when you sign that contract for millions of dallors, you forfeit this right to be human. Humans 99% of us live in poverty while the other 1% have every luxury imaginable. He deserves his space like any other. He is no different. The the fact that he is approachable only goes to show he adores his fans and welcomes the adoration……to a point. When anyone crossed the line or doesn’t respect the wishes of another human being deserves what they get and ruins it for all the fans that do respect his space. Does anyone care about all the good he has done for no other reason but kindness. Now show him some respect and back off!

At a theater space in NYC during intermission I saw Senator Barney Frank showed up in car service. Two guys walked up to him with cell phones recording.
I noticed they cornered him and were relentless in badgering him while he was attempting to avoid them to go see his show. I walked up to theater door, opened it and shouted out – “Senator, they are waiting for you inside.”
He took the cue and used the distraction to politely break from the two and entered the theater without any further disruption.
Everyone is entitled to their personal space. If they need to be hounded do it on non-personal time. Some may disagree with this practice in societal manners yet I will go on practicing assisting others in what I would not what others to do to me.

Everyone, even Keanu Reeves, deserves some space, especially when asked. If this was a professional autograph hunter and not a fan, and if he was asked to leave, then yes, Keanu had every right to be angry. In fact, even if it was a fan, people need to respect a request for space.
Nobody knows what someone else is dealing with aon a day to day basis. Imagine having to “be at work” every moment you walk out of your front door.
Given how genuine Keanu appears to be in every interaction, regardless of the backstory herre, I’m going to give him a pass, and based on the story here, I think he was well within his rights to be pissed off.
