Jon Snow star, Kit Harington, says he no longer “knows nothing”. He has read the finale of Game of Thrones and wept after reading the final pages of the script.

The 30-year-old actor told viewers of the BBC’s The One Show that they have done a table read of the final episode of the smash-hit HBO fantasy and that it made him quite emotional.

“I cried at the end,” he revealed. “You have to remember that [after] eight years of it — no one really cares about it more than us. It’s been an institution longer than any other institution I’ve been in. School, drama school, anything.”

Of course, he was referring to saying goodbye to the series and not revealing a spoiler. Harington has been with the show since the beginning and met fiance Rose Leslie on the set.

“I get a bit weepy thinking about it,” he continued. “It’s going to be a strange year saying goodbye to everyone and having last scenes with this person and that person. Not only you’re attached to it, loads of people around the world are attached to it.”

The final season of Game of Thrones is set to air in 2019.
