With the franchise now officially spanning more than three decades since the first release, it has crossed over to a new generation of viewers with its latest iteration. The Record-Setting Toy Story Franchise

Disney and Pixar celebrated the return of Toy Story 5 after an amazing global box-office opening weekend, setting new records in the process, as the franchise continues to capture the hearts of millions of fans around the world. There’s just a little more to celebrate for South African fans, with the inclusion of Grammy Award-winning singer Tyla, who voices a new character, Inflatable Flamingo, in the Sub-Saharan African theatrical release. As is to be expected, the film introduces a new line of toys, including a few interactive characters that recognise and talk to one another when placed together. Another notable inclusion is the Wow Palm Puppetronics Toy Story (palm-sized figures with blinking eyes, moving mouths and expressive reactions), as well as the brand-new LEGO® range.
