Tito Pernalete is an entertainment writer and film critic with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Communication, specialising in the audiovisual field. He has spent most of his adult life writing about movies, television, and technology, with a deep focus on sci-fi, horror, cult cinema, and the kind of underrated TV that deserves a second look.

In addition to his work at Fortress of Solitude, Tito has contributed film analysis and criticism to Budapest Reporter — a film industry publication covering production, interviews, and the global entertainment business — with pieces spanning retrospectives, box office analysis, and franchise deep-dives. He also writes book reviews for Book Nerdection across genres including sci-fi, thriller, fantasy, and horror. His favourite film is RoboCop. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of 80s horror, a genuine soft spot for Wes Anderson, and has been known to replay Elden Ring boss fights until the controller gives up before he does. He's still planning that trip to Japan.
