Bad Boys: Ride or Die Synopsis
Detectives Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) return to the big screen to investigate corruption within their local Miami PD. However, things take a turn for the worse when their late Captain Conrad Howard is posthumously accused of being involved with the Romanian Mafia. The two are also implicated, turning them into fugitives, which forces them to take matters into their own hands, operating outside the law to solve the case.

Their disagreements are always funny and getting it from their captain, the action car and bike chases, but Best bit was on the plane to mexico! Fly together die together, who f a witch without a condom 😂
For me the best moment of the franchise has got to be the last car chase from Bad Boys, with Marcus reading miranda rights while racing at full speed towards the barricade.

One of the parts that stood out for me was when Marcus had to pretend to be Mike and it was hilarious watching the character copy his partner’s behaviour.

Bingewatched the whole series for the first time during covid with my boyfriend doing virtual dates. I was hooked since then. My favourite moment is when Martin Lawrence says, “Mike Laaaawhry” in the first movie. Or when we found out that Mike had a son in the last movie.

My favorite scene is where they were seeking refuge in a quieter corner in an electronics store, Marcus shares with Mike about the consequences of the gunshot wound on his butt. The end result was the conversation was caught on video and added to the humor of the movie. Can’t wait to see the latest release.

The most iconic scene, for me, was the one with the most iconic cars. When the Porsche 911 races against the Shelby Cobra and wins. Two unbelievably beautiful cars racing against each other. It was a dilemma for me because I wanted Will Smith to win but I also wanted the Cobra to win

To me it shows Marcus that Reggie will go all out to protect his daughter and home!

One of the funniest scenes in “Bad Boys II” (2003) is the “Reggie” scene, where Marcus Burnett (played by Martin Lawrence) and Mike Lowrey (played by Will Smith) intimidate a young man named Reggie, who has come to take Marcus’s daughter out on a date.
In this scene, Reggie arrives at the Burnett household, and Marcus and Mike go overboard with their tough-guy act. Marcus opens the door with an angry demeanor, immediately putting Reggie on edge. Mike joins in, pretending to be an overprotective uncle who just got out of prison. The two grill Reggie with aggressive questions, making him extremely uncomfortable.
I would say the highlight of this scene is when Mike waves a gun around and demands to know how old Reggie is, while Marcus asks Reggie if he has ever made love to a man.
In my opinion, this scene perfectly shows the chemistry between Marcus and Mike, showcasing their comedic timing and ability to play off each other perfectly.

Still remember watching the original Bad Boys in the late 90s, I was a young teenager at the time and back then it used to be weekly trips to the video store to hire movies. Loved the movie, the car, had a slight crush on Tea Leoni back then and growing up watching Fresh Prince and Martin I was a huge fan of the guys. Watched the long awaited 2nd movie when I was in University with the friend squad and loved it. At that time it was a crush on Gabrielle Union but the increased action, explosions, story and comedy made for an epic movie. The 3rd movie was good but not as great as 1 and 2 but definitely looking forward to Ride or Die
