Sergio Pereira

Batman: The Killing Joke movie didn't quite match up with what fans expected, causing it to miss the mark with critics.

The movie was based on the wildly popular 1988 comic book one-shot by Alan Moore and Brian Bollard.

The adaptation brought back the fan-favourite source material, and also brought back the voices of Kevin Conroy and mark Hamill as Batman and Joker

It seems that this movie has everything working in its favour right? You couldn't be more wrong.

A New Prologue

The original comic book story wasn't the longest tale in the world to turn into a feature-length film, so a decision was made to add more meat to the narrative.

Barbara Gordon plays a pivotal role in the original story. One scene in particular, between the two heroes, shocked fans.
