The Asylum strikes again. Just when you thought it was safe to return to your video rental store, the studio drops another mockbuster film, Jurassic Domination.
To be completely fair, the Jurassic World franchise has become a bit of a parody of itself, especially with Jurassic World Dominion. So it makes complete sense that The Asylum (the company behind projects like Ape vs. Monster, Megalodon Rising, Planet Dune and Jungle Run) would try to cash in the new blockbuster by creating their own variation.
The biggest drawcard to both films is the dinosaurs. The most surprising thing about the Jurassic Domination trailer, however, is that the CGI has definitely improved. And truth be told, the story isn’t anything worse than what we got from the Colin Trevorrow finale film.
In Jurassic Domination, “two military-made, weaponized dinosaurs attack a small mountain town, it’s up to the sheriff to figure out a way to stop the creatures before the dinos escape and wreak havoc nationwide.”
Of course, Eric Roberts stars and he is joined by Jack Pearson and Jamie Bernadette.
The poster could have done with some more work too. That said, it’s probably the best representation of what you can expect from the film.
