Developer Prideful Sloth has released a trailer for their upcoming open-world game Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles.
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles looks gorgeous and there is no doubt that the game might remind some of another hero (whose name rimes with ink). The game is being developed by Prideful Sloth who consists of veteran former Rocksteady developers. Of course, this means that, with the experience these guys have under their belts, players can expect an open-world filled with things to do.
The game follows a young hero who finds himself shipwrecked on the beautiful shores of Gemea, a vast locale which consists of eight different environments. Each environment will have its own unique ecosystem filled with all sorts of creatures and plant life. As can be expected, all is not well in the land of Gemea as the inhabitants are enshrouded by and evil mist that is slowly destroying their lands. Player’s will need to build relationships with the locals by farming, crafting fishing and, of course, adventuring.
From the what we can tell from the trailer, the game looks like loads of fun and we are quite excited to explore the world of Yonder.
