It was confirmed by CD Projekt Red the highly anticipated DLC for Witcher 3, Blood and Wine would be releasing on the 31st of May 2016.
The new Blood and Wine DLC will have Geralt exploring Toussaint, a remote land, untouched by war. This land hides a horrifying secret and it is up to Geralt to unravel it.
The game director, Konrad Tomaszkiewics had the following to say about the new DLC, “Blood and Wine makes The Witcher 3 complete — it’s Geralt’s final mission. Containing more than 90 new quests, and over thirty hours of brand new adventures, it’s something that I think gamers will remember for a long time.”
The DLC will also include a new dynamic point of interest system, a new Gwent deck, new endgame mutation mechanics, and also a place that Geralt can rest his head after a long day of killing, a place he can call home.
