Developer Rockstar has released a tense new trailer for their highly anticipated open-world game Red Dead Redemption 2.
The latest Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer showed off more of the game and also revealed details about the game’s narrative.
The game takes place in America during 1899 as lawmen have begun hunting the last gangs of outlaws that roam the Wild West. You play as Arthur Morgan, who is part of the feared Vander Linde gang. After a botched robbery, Arthur and the gang are forced to flee across the heartland of America as they find themselves being pursued by the long arm of the law. The only way to survive is to run, rob and fight their way across the Wild West in hopes of losing those that are out for their blood. Arthur will be faced with a tough choice, follow his own ideals or risk tearing the gang apart.
This is the first time Rockstar has revealed a substantial amount about the game’s story and it seems we are in for quite the adventure when the game releases on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on the 26th of October 2018.
