Tokyo 42 is a game that takes parts of Monument Valley and Hotline Miami and wraps it up in a colorful cyberpunk theme.
Don’t let the colorful isometric graphics of Tokyo 42 fool you, as the game packs more than its fair share of violence and chaotic gunfights. The game sees the player take on the role of a character who gets unwittingly drawn into the ruthless world of assassins in a futuristic version of Tokyo. Players will receive missions from terminals and “shady” handlers as they are tasked with building up their cash reserves in order to grow their underworld reputation. Below is the trailer for the game showcasing some of the insane (and colorful) action. The game is being developed by Mode7 and is scheduled to release sometime in 2017.
