Developer DICE has released an explosive new trailer for Battlefield V just in time for Gamescom 2018.
The latest Battlefield V trailer is full of all the explosive action you would expect with rubble flying everywhere and bullets whizzing by. It’s quite chaotic as the city of Rotterdam is blown to pieces. Since its announcement, the game has promised to be the most immersive in the series yet and will allow players to be in control of their character’s customisation more than ever before. While many first-person shooters have decided to ditch regular single player, DICE has decided to continue with its tense and nail-biting single player narratives we’ve come to expect.
The trailer ends with a quick teaser of the game’s new battle royale mode (yes, the franchise has also decided to jump on the bandwagon), and in true Battlefield style, it looks suitably over the top. We haven’t’ seen anything regarding this mode, but hopefully the teaser at the end of the trailer means that we get to see more of it during Gamescom 2018 next week.
Battlefield V is set for release on the 19th of October 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
