Ray Parker Jr.’s classic Ghostbusters theme recently got a remake with Fallout Boy and Missy Elliot. And to be quite honest, it’s terrible. Now Japan has responded with the Japanese Ghostbusters theme song – and it’s way better.
Okay, fair enough, it’s just the original song with Japanese lyrics. But this is the theme cover song people wanted. Listen to the American version here.
Four Japanese comedians — Tomochika, Oniyakko Tsubaki, Naomi Watanabe, and Shizuyo Yamasaki — recorded their own take on the 1984 classic for Sony Pictures Japan’s own Ghostbusters campaign.
