It was Announced by Team 17 and Mouldy Toof Studios that The Escapists 2, the sequel to the 2015 prison break game would be releasing in 2017.
The Escapists 2 brings a whole slew of new features, including both online and split-screen drop-in/drop-out co-op, and for those who don’t feel like teaming up with friends, there will be a multiplayer versus mode. Another new addition will be multi-level prisons that will force players to find new ways of escaping their fate. Combat also seems to have been drastically improved, with lock-on targeting, light and heavy attacks, and even blocking. The game also sports a brand new art style and new character customization options.
The Escapists 2 will be releasing for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.
