2K and Firaxis have released a new trailer for Civilization VI that gives us more insight into the leader of the Scythian Empire in Civilization VI, Tomyris.
The new trailer gives us a look at the Scythian empire lead by Tomyris. Assuming leadership of her group of nomadic tribes after the death of her husband, Tomyris became a fierce leader of her people.
She most famously sought revenge on the Persian ruler Cyrus the Great who in his efforts to subjugate her people kidnapped her son. Vowing to quench his thirst for blood Tomyris challenged Cyrus the Great and defeated him and his forces crucifying and beheading his corpse.
Civilization VI launches in October 2016 on PC with both Mac and Linux versions planned
