Does the world need another boxing movie? Miles Teller thinks so. Here he is in another motivational film, Bleed For This, based on the life of boxer Vinny Paz.

“Whiplash” star Miles Teller plays real-life former lightweight, light middleweight, and super heavyweight boxer Vinny Paz and focuses on his extraordinary comeback to the sport after a near-fatal car crash. “With this severe of an injury, one bump, one fall, any kind of movement, and your spinal cord could sever,” warns a doctor in the trailer.
The film is directed by Ben Younger (Boiler Room), co-produced by Martin Scorsese and also stars Amanda Clayton and Aaron Eckhart as Vinny’s trainer Kevin Rooney.
With help from trainer Kevin Rooney (Aaron Eckhart), champion boxer Vinny Pazienza (Miles Teller) tries to make a comeback after breaking his neck in a car accident.
