Telltale has finally announced the release date for Batman: The Telltale Series Episode 1 in the game’s world premiere gameplay trailer.
The trailer reveals that the highly anticipated Batman game from Telltale will be releasing its first episode on the 2nd of August. The game gives players the chance to play as both the caped crusader and Bruce Wayne as they have to navigate a complex drama, rich with action, crime, and corruption.
The trailer has us even more excited to put on the cape and fight crime in Gotham this August, and with a track record like Telltale’s we are sure that the game will be filled with twists and intrigue.
The game will be launching on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, Xbox One, Xbox 360, iOS and Android with a physical retail release becoming available in September, this will entitle buyers to download all five episodes as they become available. There are no details on pricing for the individual episode or a Season Pass at time of writing.
Batman: The Telltale Series is an upcoming episodic point-and-click graphic adventure video game developed and published by Telltale Games and distributed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment under its DC Entertainment label.
