The first trailer for Netflix’s Cloverfield 3, which aired during the Super Bowl, revealed the title for the third film in the J.J. Abrams-produced franchise. Cloverfield Paradox is the follow up to the unconventional sci-fi franchise which includes Dan Trachtenberg’s 2016 film, 10 Cloverfield Lane, and Matt Reeves’s Cloverfield. The biggest surprise, however, is that the film is already available to stream on Netflix.
Directed Julius Onah, God Particle, which it was originally called, has been rumoured for quite some time, with not much information available until now. Based on the trailers released, Cloverfield Paradox appears to be a proper sequel to the original Cloverfield movie. It stars Daniel Brühl, Elizabeth Debicki, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, John Ortiz, and David Oyelowo.
