Sega announced that the upcoming Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be getting a demo on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 takes place during the same timeline as the previous games. It’s a time of war when the Atlantic Federation faces off against the Eastern Imperial Alliance. You play as Commander Claude Wallace as you and your friends head out to fight the imperial soldiers.
As with the previous titles, the game will see players taking part in battles using a mixture of turn-based and real-time combat. It’s a series that not only looks gorgeous due to its watercolour-inspired visuals, but also perfect for those who prefer strategic combat (especially if you like games such as XCOM). And now, thanks to the demo which is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch, you have no excuse to not get stuck into this great franchise. The demo will allow players to play the game’s prologue which, according to Sega, is around two hours of gameplay. Better yet, your progress will carry over to the full game when it releases.
The game is set for release in September 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
