It may come as no surprise that Uncharted 4 has been lauded as a huge success, not just as far as reviews by critics are concerned, but also according to the sales data.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that Nathan Drake ‘s latest adventure had sold 2.7 million units in its first week of release worldwide. The worldwide sales of both physical and digital copies of Uncharted 4 include sales as of the 16th of May 2016.
A congratulatory post on the PlayStation Blog reads:
“A huge congratulations goes out to Naughty Dog for an incredible feat. The success of the game is a testament to the caliber of the team at Naughty Dog and their unwavering commitment to their fans.
Most of all, we wanted to give a special thank you to all of you who joined us so far on this incredible adventure, and have embarked with us on Nathan Drake’s final, wild ride”
Uncharted 4 has also been crowned as the fastest-selling PlayStation 4 first part game to date.
