The second Ubisoft Forward event might have had fewer announcements than the first, but it was still packed with some great moments.
During the live-stream, Ubisoft showcased some of their upcoming games and even announced that a classic hero would be making a return.
Here are some of the announcements and reveals from the event.
Immortals Fenyx Rising
The game formerly known as Gods & Monsters, Immortals Fenyx Rising, got a brand new trailer along with a release date reveal.
Taking inspiration from the Zelda games, Immortals Fenyx Rising promises an engaging open-world to explore, puzzles to solve and monsters to slay.
The game releases on the 3rd of December 2020.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake
The prince is back!
Ubisoft revealed that the classic and much-loved Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be receiving a remake – along with some shiny new visuals, additional dialogue and a whole slew of new improvements.
The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is set to release on the 21st of January 2021.
Watch Dogs Legion
With the game’s release just around the corner, Ubisoft released a new trailer for Watch Dogs Legion.
The Ubisoft Forward trailer announced a mission that will feature the rapper Stormzy.
Another tidbit of Watch Dogs news was that the original protagonist from the first game, Aiden Pearce, would be making an appearance in a post-launch expansion for the game.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game
A game that disappeared for a while due to licensing issues, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game will be making a return.
The Complete Edition will include all of the game’s released DLC and is set to release later this year, just in time for the holiday season.
At Ubisoft Forward, the developers behind the 2016 game, Steep also announced that their next project would be Riders Republic.
The game features various extreme sports such as mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding, among others. Players will need to outperform and outrace their opponents in a slew of events.
The game releases on the 25th of February 2021.
