With The Last of Us 2 probably being one of the most anticipated upcoming releases, the hype surrounding the game is at an all-time high. Troy Baker, the voice behind the first game’s protagonist, has commented on the upcoming game and it seems we are in for quite a ride.
The voice behind Joel, the gruff protagonist from The Last of Us, Troy Baker, recently teased fans about The Last of Us 2 during Manchester Comic-Con. As many have guessed, Baker confirmed that everything that has been revealed about the game so far has been meticulously and methodically curated and crafted. He also mentioned that fans probably aren’t ready for the final product.
“There is nothing about this game, nor the reveals, that hasn’t been 100% carefully crafted and methodically curated. All I can tell you is that as much as you’re clamouring for it, you’re not ready.”
It seems that Naughty Dog plans to keep any info about the game under wraps, at least for now. To be honest, we are actually glad to not be bombarded by gameplay and trailers. Part of the charm and joy of the first game came from knowing so little about it going in.
Many suspect that The Last of Us 2 will launch alongside the PlayStation 5, or will at least be available on both the Playstation 4 and PlayStation 5.
We can’t wait to finally get our hands on the game and go on a journey with Ellie, and possibly Joel, again.
