After dropping the first full trailer back in February, Netflix has finally announced the release date for the first part of the animated Transformers War For Cybertron trilogy series.
Transformers War For Cybertron: Siege will be available to stream on July 30th.
The announcement comes with a brand new 30-second video clip which features new footage of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Jetfire and Ironhide in battle, as Megatron states that “this will be the final day of the Autobot resistance”.

The series was initially set for release in June but, due to the coronavirus, it was delayed to allow time for foreign dubbing in post-production.
Developed by Rooster Teeth Studios, the trilogy will begin with Siege which consists of six 22-minute episodes.
The story begins on Cybertron which has been torn apart because of the civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons. In an attempt to end the conflict Megatron considers using the Allspark (a powerful relic) as a last resort. But Optimus Prime wants to prevent that from happening – even if that means destroying Cybertron in order to save it.
The series features the voice talents of Jake Foushee as Optimus Prime, Jason Marnocha as Megatron, Joe Zieja as Bumblebee, Kaiser Johnson as Ironhide, and Keith Silverstein as Jetfire.
Transformers War For Cybertron: Siege will be followed by part two of the Transformers trilogy, titled Earthrise. Part three is still untitled.
