Transformers toys have captivated children and adults for many years. And Hasbro has released a whole slew of figures to continuously satiate the fandom. The latest of these is the Cyberverse Adventures range. We take a look at everybody’s favourite black and yellow transformer, Bumblebee. This is the Transformers Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures Battle Call Officer Class action figure (quite a mouthful!).
The Transformers Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures Battle Call Officer Class figure, unlike many other Transformers, actually has three transformations instead of the usual two.
The first it the vehicle mode. In this mode, Bumblebee transforms into a car similar to the mustang we’ve seen in the recent films.
The second is its robot mode, which transforms the figure into the familiar Bumblebee we all love.
Last is its voice-activated armour mode.
While the first to modes are quite self-explanatory the voice-activated battle armour mode is an interesting and unique feature. Basically, when transformed into its robot form, Bumblebee has a little light on the chest that flickers in rhythm with whichever sound it can sense, whether it be music or your voice.
Your voice also activates some of the figure’s sounds. Shout loud enough and Bumblebee’s head flips over, revealing a more insect-like face.
Along with this, a clear piece of battle armour also flips over unto the figure’s chest.
Although the transformation only incorporates two moving parts it’s a great feature to have it voice-activated.
As for the build quality of the Transformers Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures Battle Call Officer Class action figure, at first I was a bit concerned as it is a surprisingly light figure, which in my mind would suggest that it could be a bit flimsy and break easily when given to a particularly eager Transformers fan to play with.
Luckily, this is not the case.
Sure, I would have liked if the figure had a bit more weight to it but it is a rather durable toy that should last many battles against the Decepticons.
As with most Hasbro figures, the paintwork is top-notch with no overlapping visible.
The Transformers Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures Battle Call Officer Class action figure also has quite a few points of articulation including elbows, knees and shoulders.
Also, the figure includes two blade weapons that can combine into a shield.

Overall, I loved the Transformers Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures figure. While it is on the light side, I do love the voice-activated feature and its light-up chest. And, of course, Bumblebee’s endearing ever-smiling face is also a plus point.
The only issue I had is that locking the clear battle armour in place can be a bit fiddly and I’m not a huge fan of the battle armour head.
Other than these to gripes, the Transformers Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures Battle Call Officer Class action figure will make a great gift for any Transformers fan looking for a little Bumblebee in their lives.
