Remember that creepy clown that scared you in ’80s? Well, IT is back. New Line Cinema and New Line Cinema have revealed the first trailer for their new adaptation of Stephen King‘s IT. You’ll float too.
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
“IT” stars Bill Skarsgård (“Allegiant,” TV’s “Hemlock Grove”) as the story’s central villain, Pennywise. An ensemble of young actors also star in the film, including Jaeden Lieberher (“Midnight Special”), Jeremy Ray Taylor (“Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip”), Sophia Lillis (“37”), Finn Wolfhard (TV’s “Stranger Things”), Wyatt Oleff (“Guardians of the Galaxy”), Chosen Jacobs (upcoming “Cops and Robbers”), Jack Dylan Grazer (“Tales of Halloween”) and Nicholas Hamilton (“Captain Fantastic”).
Started getting weary when Fukinawa left the production. I know he was involved in penning in but will reserve ultimate judgement for the actual film. Trailer looks decent but don’t want to get too rock hard yet.
Yeah. The visuals are great, but it needs to do a lot to be better than the original was. Or at least as good as the original was in its time.
Shoo. Those are some clown-sized shoes to fill right there buddy!
I remember when I first saw the original and how I walked wide circles around drains for weeks after.
Same :)
