Remedy Entertainment released the story trailer for their upcoming supernatural third-person shooter Control, and boy is it weird.
Control focuses a lot on the science-fiction that deals with the unexplained and, as we can see from the trailer, there sure are a lot of unexplained things going on.
The game places players in the shoes of protagonist Jesse Faden, who is unexpectable thrust into the role of Director of the Bureau. A paranormal force called the Hiss has infiltrated the Bureau’s headquarters, called The Old Building, and it’s up to you to save the day and find out the truth behind this threat. Of course, Jesse will have a slew of supernatural powers at her disposal, as well as a transforming gun. What more could a paranormal hunter ask for?
There is bound to be loads of secrets to uncover, monsters to shoot and abilities to unlock when Remedy’s next adventure releases next month. The studio is famous for creating spooky, linear games like Alan Wake and Quantum Break. Thankfully, Control mirrors their approach to storytelling.
