With Stranger Things Season 3 releasing on Netflix, developer BonusXP, the same guys behind the upcoming Dark Crystal Tactics game, has released Stranger Things 3: The Game, which follows the plot of the series third season.
Stranger Things 3: The Game naturally has an ’80s video game look and style to its visuals, which fits in perfectly with the series.
You too can take on the creatures of the Upside-Down with a friend in split-screen local co-op as you play through the events of the third season. Players will get to choose from up to 12 different characters from the show, including Eleven.
Each character seems to have special abilities and attacks unique to them, which is great. As is the case with most games these days, players will also need to collect materials in order to craft upgrades for their characters.
The game looks like it could make for a fun time with friends after binging. Be sure to end after Chapter 1 if you plan to avoid spoilers from the 3rd season.
