Disney has released the first official trailer for the second season of The Mandalorian. The Star Wars spin-off series will be returning to Disney+ next month.
The trailer was first shared on The Mandalorian’s official Twitter account along with the caption, “Wherever I go, he goes,” and features lots of Baby Yoda.
The clip opens with the Armorer saying…
“Show me the one whose safety deemed such destruction. You must reunite it with its own kind.”

Season two will follow The Mandalorian and The Child as they continue their search for the creature’s home planet. On their quest, the unlikely duo will encounter enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.
Speaking about the second season in a recent interview, series star Pedro Pascal said…
“I think expectations will be exceeded. Fans love of Star Wars will be injected with steroids.”
Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez. Showrunner Jon Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist serving as co-executive producer.
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Fans can also expect to see a few new faces including Rosario Dawson as Clone Wars character Ahsoka Tano, Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett, and Timothy Olyphant in some capacity. Additionally, WWE superstar, Sasha Banks has been cast in an undisclosed role.
Star Wars fans can look forward to even more Baby Yoda in the future. The series is in pre-production for a third season and showrunner, Jon Favreau is said to have been writing the season for a while.
