IO Interactive has released a new trailer for its upcoming sequel Hitman 2 that focuses on some of the new features the game will bring to the franchise.
The Hitman 2 trailer not only reveals some of the new features that the sequel will include building on many of the ones found in the previous game, but it also reveals that the six locations from the previous game will be free to download as part of the Hitman Legacy Pack. Even better is that these locations will incorporate many of the new features found in the sequel such as the progression system, improved AI, higher fidelity crowds, and some new gameplay items. While the trailer does give us a look at some of these new features, it also promises even more content for the game’s co-op Sniper Assassin mode. The sequel is shaping up to be everything we hoped it would be, building upon elements that fans love from the previous games. It’s great to see IO Interactive taking fans input to heart and giving us the Hitman game we’ve all been waiting for.
Hitman 2 is set for release in November 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We can’t wait to grab our sniper rifle and eliminate a few pesky targets.
