Developer Supermassive Games showed off a new multiplayer mode for their upcoming horror game, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan.
The multiplayer mode for Man of Medan, which is the first game in the developers ambitious Dark Pictures Anthologyseries, will allow up to five players to each take on the role of one of the game’s characters.
As you players progress through the game, it will inform them when it is another players turn to take control. This means that each player will decide what their specific character’s moves and decisions will be, which in turn will affect how the game’s narrative plays out.
It’s actually a very clever way of letting your friends help shape the story of the game and making sure that the conclusion is one that is decided on by the actions of the group. After all, experiencing horror games or even movies is more fun with friends.
The developer also worked on Until Dawn, the scary as heck game that gave many players sleepless nights.
