It seems Terry Crews really wants to be the voice for Overwatch‘s Doomfist. Initially, Crews started a Twitter campaign to help him realize his dream, but now he has decided to go one step further and setup a mock audition for the part.
The mock Doomfist audition video shows Crews reciting some of the character’s lines while different cinematic clips are interspersed in between. As you would expect, Crews seems a perfect fit for the character and, even if some of the lines sound a bit ridiculous, he still manages to make them sound intimidating. Many Overwatch fans have admitted that they would love to see Crews voice the titular character and even The Rock gave his blessing.
The moniker of “Doomfist” has been carried by at least three individuals referred to as “the Savior,” “the Scourge,” and “the Successor” respectively. Each Doomfist has wielded a powerful gauntlet.
