Yes, Suicide Squad Won An Oscar Award. No, It Wasn’t Warren Beatty’s Fault

Sometimes real life is stranger than fiction. That seems to be the theme of the Oscar Awards 2017 ceremony. If you haven’t heard by now, Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway accidently announced the wrong winner of this year’s Best Picture award (announcing La La Land as the winner, instead of Moonlight). If that wasn’t enough, the film critics love to hate, Suicide Squad, also took home glory. Yes, Suicide Squad won an Oscar award.

Here is the list of the winners of the 2017 Oscars, which includes Suicide Squad for Best Makeup and Hairstyling, Casey Affleck for Best Actor, Jungle Book for Best Visual Effects, and Emma Stone for Best Actress. As expected, La La Land won the night by taking home six awards.
