Back in the ’90s, the horror miniseries Stephen King’s It caused quite a stir at my primary school. It caused many kids to develop an unusual fear of clowns. Now Stephen King hopes to bring that same fear back to life with a new film, It: Part 1 – The Losers’ Club. Already receiving high-praise, this is a must-see horror film, especially for fans who were afraid to walk past sewer drains in the 90s. Now you can watch the film before anyone else at a special early screening of It in Cape Town and Johannesburg. You’ll float, too.
Those brave enough to face their fear of clowns will be delighted to know that we, along with our partners Times Media Films, are giving away tickets to a special screening of the horrifying (and yes, it seriously is scary) new film. It promises to be a night of bumps, scares and nightmares that you won’t soon forget. Don’t believe us? Well, a few critics have seen the film before its release, and the good news is all that of them agree that It is a very good and very scary:
I've seen IT. ?
I think it's one of the finest Stephen King adaptations ever made. pic.twitter.com/mwZ0Tsm2SX— Anthony Breznican (@Breznican) August 26, 2017
IT is creepy, bloody, super funny, adorably romantic and hands down among my favorite movies of the year pic.twitter.com/tYpaNFHOsu

#ITMovie is everything I hoped for & more. Has heart, laughs & TONS of incredible scares. Fell in love w/ The Losers. Didn't want it to end.

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
Directed by Andy Muschietti, It has a September 15th, 2017 release and stars Jaeden Lieberher and Bill Skarsgård.
