EA has been showing off quite a bit of the Star Wars Battlefront 2 multiplayer lately, yet we haven’t seen much of the highly anticipated single-player campaign. Thankfully, they have just released a trailer that focuses on the story.
The Star Wars Battlefront 2 campaign will follow protagonist Iden Verso as she and her Imperial Inferno Squad seek revenge against the Rebel scum for the Emporer’s death after the Death Star is destroyed. The trailer also includes a few surprise appearances from Luke Skywalker, Leia, Maz Katana and what appears to be the arm of Kylo Ren, who we weren’t expecting to see in the game.
While the game is shaping up to be everything a Star Wars fan could ask for, there have been some concerns raised about the game’s Crate system (microtransactions), which could negatively impact on the multiplayer balance.
We’ll get to shoot down some rebels when Star Wars Battlefront 2 releases in November 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with the possibility of a Switch version later down the line.
