EA has finally announced the open Beta dates for Star Wars Battlefront 2, so grab your E-11 Blaster rifle and get ready.
It’s probably safe to say that with all the announced improvements Star Wars Battlefront 2 is one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year. Thanks to the planned open Beta fans will be able to get a taste of what awaits them when the game finally releases. EA has announced that the open Beta will run from the 6th of October to the 9th of October 2017. Pre-ordering the game, however, will allow players the opportunity to start playing two days earlier.
Those taking part in the open Beta will have access to the Galactic Assault on Naboo, a 40-player battle that was first shown at E3 2017. Players will be able to choose between the Separatist Droid Army (Roger-Roger) or the Republic clones. The open Beta will have four trooper classes that players will be able to choose from, the Assault, Heavy Specialist and Officer. Of course, no Star Wars game will be complete without letting you play as the heroes, and the open Beta will allow players to take control of some of these iconic figures (please let it be Darth Maul).
EA also revealed that the open Beta will feature the Starfighter Assault mode, but did not reveal much beyond this. What we do know is that the mode will have players duking it out using an array of Star Wars ships.
