With the release of Insomniac’s Spider-Man PS4 game rapidly approaching, the developer has released a new trailer for the game. This time focusing on New York City.
The latest Spider-Man PS4 trailer shows us around Spidey’s stomping ground, New York City. As expected, we see our favourite hero swinging through the city doing his thing, but unlike previous trailers this one gives us a glimpse of, among other things, the Avengers Tower and Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum. Naturally, this has us thinking which other Marvel heroes might be popping up in the game. It’s great to see just how much detail Insomniac has seemed to squash into their version of New York, and we can’t wait to go exploring. Oh, we also learn that even Spider-Man sometimes needs to use the subway.
During the trailer, we hear J. Jonah Jameson lamenting what a nuisance Spider-Man is. I mean, he swings around the city like he owns the place, and what is with all those backpacks he leaves around the city? More importantly, where does he get all the money for these backpacks? I guess some questions just don’t have answers.
The more we see of the new Spider-Man game the more excited we are for its release. Luckily, we only have a few more weeks to wait before the game is released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on the 7th of September 2018.
