It seems Sony’s beautifully animated Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, will introduce audiences to 14-year-old Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) as Spider-Man as he is mentored by an older Peter Parker (voiced by Jake Johnson). According to the voiceover, it takes place in “another universe, that looks and sounds like yours — but it’s not.”
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse seems to be offering a lot of firsts. The first film for a non-white Spider-Man. The first film with two Spider-men. The first film with an older Spider-Man. And Spider-Gwen’s first appearance in a film.
More importantly, fans have responded positively to the trailer, with many loving the animation style. With a new game on the way too, it seems like this will be an amazing year for Spidey.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse is probably gonna be the best animated adaptation of any comic-book character.
