PlayStation fans were over the moon when Sony announced that it would be working on a remake of the much-loved MediEvil, a game many fondly remember playing back in the day.
During their State of Play event for May 2019, Sony released a story trailer for the game. For those who might not have played the original, the series features protagonist Sir Daniel Fortesque who tragically ends up dead during a battle against the evil sorcerer Zarok. Years later the Zarok returns and brings with him an army of undead. Unbeknownst to him, by raising the dead for his nefarious purposes, Zarok also raises the now very bony body of his nemesis, Sir Daniel Fortesque, who realises that he is now the only one who can, once again, stop the evil sorcerer.
The game, as with the recent Spyro remake, was made from the ground up and will sport some very nice looking 4K visuals. Along with the story trailer, Sony also announced that the MediEvil remake would be releasing on the 25th of October for the PlayStation 4.
