Sony has just announced their entry into the ever growing mini console market called the PlayStation Classic. Say what you will, but Nintendo seems to have kickstarted a mini console revolution and it was only a matter of time before Sony would jump aboard the bandwagon.
The newly announced PlayStation Classic mini console is enough to get any gamer hot under the collar. Not only does it resemble the classic console we all fell in love with so many years ago, but it also comes jam-packed with pre-loaded games.
Sony has revealed that the console will include 20 games including such classic gems as Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms. The console is around 45% smaller than the original that released way back in 1995 and comes with an HDMI port, so you can connect it up to your fancy new flatscreen TV’s, and two controllers for those all-important couch co-op sessions.
The PlayStation Classic mini console is planned for release in December 2018 for around $99.99 USD.
