It’s hard to believe that in just over a month from now we’ll be slaying all sorts of Norse mythological creatures and gods in the latest God of War game. And with the excitement building, Sony has decided to reveal a God of War themed PlayStation 4 Pro bundle.
The God of War PlayStation 4 Pro bundle not only comes with a copy of the highly anticipated game but also includes a specially designed 1TB PlayStation 4 Pro and controller. While the bundled DualShock 4 controller might be on the bland side, the actual PlayStation 4 Pro console has an interesting Norse inspired design which sees the console covered in all sorts of ancient runes which represent the game’s skill tree as well as Krato’s new weapon, the Leviathan Axe. Although the design might not be to everyone’s taste, the simplistic use of a limited colour palette and striking rune design does make quite the statement. The bundle is set for release on the same day as the game and will cost about $400 in the United States.
Previously a Reddit user revealed how he was mistakenly sent a God of War themed Dualshock 4 controller. But many readers, including myself, debated its authenticity. Well, it seems that the controller was indeed the same one found in the bundle as the image posted by the Reddit user almost exactly resembles the one see in Sony’s promotional images.
Whatever your feelings might be about the new bundle there is no doubt that there are many out there who can’t wait to get their hands on God Of War when it releases for the PlayStation 4 on the 20th of April 2018.
