This pandemic has messed up the entire film industry. Delay after delay, and films getting pushed out by years. Naturally, the Marvel Cinematic Universe was also impacted, especially Black Widow, which is now set for release in May 2021—almost 14 months after it was supposed to.
As studios try to find a solution, most have gone the VOD route. For Black Widow, this would mean an exclusive Disney Plus release. However, after what happened with Mulan, that might not be the right answer. That being said, what is?
