A few days ago, we got our first look at Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury. He certainly looked the part. You’ll be happy to know that he seems to have the performance and movements down too.
When Rami Malek first signed up as Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in Bryan Singer’s biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, everyone doubted whether or not he could pull it off. It seems he can.
If you compare this video with the actual Live Aid concert performance from 1985, he has all the beats right.
Catch it before it’s removed yet again!
The film is being directed by Bryan Singer, who is probably best known for his work on the X-Men franchise. According to Singer, the film won’t be a dark tale but rather a celebration of the life of the ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ singer:
“It won’t just be the dark Freddie story, but that being said, that also will be honoured. It’s about collaboration. It’s a celebration.”
Aaaaand it’s down. Well, the video can’t be viewed in SA it seems
