A few days ago, PUMA dropped the PUMA X Hot Wheels collaboration by unveiling the RS-X Toys Hot Wheels ‘Bone Shaker’ silhouette. Today, the company officially drops the full pack featuring two new silhouettes as part of the PUMA x Hot Wheels collection.
The pack pays homage to five decades of epic stunts and races, with the legendary toy cars reimagined in the all-new RS-X silhouette for three exciting iterations. The silhouettes include the RS-X Toys Hot Wheels 16, the RS-X Toys Hot Wheels Camaro and the RS-X Toys Hot Wheels Bone Shaker, which was previously unveiled last week.
- RS-X Toys Hot Wheels 16 – R2,499: dates back to the first collection of Hot Wheels die-cast toy cars, named the “Original Sweet 16.” The sneaker features a PUMA Royal and PUMA Black colourway, as well as a clear transparent rubber outsole with the Hot Wheels graphics on the reverse side.
- RS-X Toys Hot Wheels Camaro – R2,899: Takes cues from the ’68 Camaro custom edition, in Vibrant Orange and PUMA Black colourway. An ode to the life-size replica built in 2018.
- RS-X Toys Hot Wheels Bone Shaker – R2,499: A nod to the anniversary Black and Gold Rodger Dodger die-cast car, which reinterprets the famous casting launched in
2006. The Formstripe and quarter features PUMA Gold and the laces are intertwined with gold threads.
The PUMA x Hot Wheels collection is set to drop in December 2018, with all three styles available at PUMA Select stores. The RS-X Toys Hot Wheels Camaro will also be available at Shelflife.
