Sony has finally revealed the two free games for PlayStation Plus owners for June 2020, and it turns out the leaks were only half right.
As the recent leaks suggested, Star Wars: Battlefront II will be joining Call of Duty: WWII as this month’s free games.
Star Wars: Battlefront II was plagued by issues on launch, mostly to do with the way EA implemented microtransactions. However, after a few years, the game has evolved into the Star Wars game fans wanted and has been lauded for the way it has become better with each update.
The single-player campaign, although on the short side, is also surprisingly good, even if you don’t get to play as a Jedi. If you ever wanted to take part in large scale Star Wars battles, then this is the game for you.
Call of Duty: WWII is another game that has grown better over time. Its single-player campaign is also quite good. However, it’s the game’s multiplayer that shines the most, especially the new War Mode.
Sony seems to have made up for last month’s free games, which fans felt was a letdown. Seeing as the games were a city-building and farming sim, it is understandable that some fans felt disillusioned with the PlayStation Plus subscription. Luckily, Sony has come back swinging.
