Bethesda has announced that DOOM will be receiving an open beta next week and have also detailed some of the post-launch DLC.
The open beta will start on the 15th of April and will end on the 18th of April. The open beta will not require a code in order to join, and will focus on multiplayer. Players will be able to try out the Team Deathmatch and Warpath modes on the Heatwave and Infernal maps.
Bethesda has also revealed that the game will receive three paid DLC packs as well as some free DLC after launch. Bethesda will be updating the multiplayer and the user creation mode with free content, these will include new game modes, AI enhancements and map modules.
Each of the paid DLC packs will be priced at $14.99 / £11.99 / €14.99, or you can get them all at a discount with the Season Pass for $39.99 / £29.99 / €39.99.
The first of the paid DLC will give you access to the following:
- Three new maps
- One new weapon
- One new playable demon
- One new armour set
- One new piece of equipment
- New hack modules and taunts
- New customization colours and patterns
DOOM releases on the 13th of May for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
