One of the most powerful heroes known to man is heading to PC and consoles. And no, it’s not Superman. It’s One Punch Man.
Japanese video game developer Bandai Namco has revealed that One Punch Man will be getting his very own game on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The game titled One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, as expected, is a three-on-three action fighting game and will include many fan favourite characters from the series. So far the list of playable characters announced consists of Saitama, Genos, Hellish Blizzard, Speed-o’-Sound Sonic, and Mumen Rider.
Namco Bandai hasn’t revealed a release date for the game yet but they did release a trailer for it.
Judging by the short trailer it seems the game will follow the same visual style from the series, which is always a plus.
Of course, while it does make sense for the game to be a brawler, the question remains, how will the developers, Spike Chunsoft, balance a game featuring a wildly overpowered character that can defeat an enemy with just one punch? The minute-long announcement trailer, unfortunately, doesn’t have the answer.
