A new X-Files game will be releasing next year. Titled The X-Files: Deep State, the new mobile game sees the player investigating all sorts of weird and unexplained mysteries.
In The X-Files: Deep State, players will take on the role of a new agent assigned to work with Agent Dale as they try and solve all manner of mysteries that defy explanation. Of course, as any good agent would know, this involves its fair share of puzzle solving, evidence collecting and interrogations. While there is no sign of agents Mulder and Scully (at least not in the teaser trailer), there is no indication whether they might show up in the game.
The last game based on the popular TV series to be released was way back in 2004 on the PlayStation 2 and was titled The X-Files: Resist or Serve. Unlike Deep State, Resist and Served starred everybody’s favourite paranormal investigating duo.
The X-Files: Deep State is set for release in 2018 for iOS, Android and Facebook.
