Insomniac Games revealed a new gameplay trailer for their highly-anticipated Spider-Man game at the Sony E3 2017 conference.
It’s about time we got to see what the new Spider-Man game will look like. The gameplay video reveals the game’s movement and combat mechanics as Spidey makes his way through a construction site, eliminating enemies as he goes along.

It’s immediately apparent that the combat takes inspiration from the Arkham games. It doesn’t take long for things to escalate as a helicopter drops a large muscle bound enemy for Spidey to defeat. Using a combination of his web shooting abilities and dodges he is quickly dispatched. A few quick time events later and Spidey is able to take down the enemy helicopter.
The game will be a completely original story separate from the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming film. The game is scheduled for releases in 2018.

The combat and traversing yes. I actually thought it looks like a reskin of the Batman games.
