Of all the games out there players were hoping would make a comeback, a new Leisure Suit Larry game is probably close to the bottom of the list. While the game holds a certain amount of nostalgic value, there can be no doubt that its “I need to get me some” gameplay hasn’t aged well. Now, a Steam listing (that has since been removed) could indicate that a new game is on the way.
The new Leisure Suit Larry game is supposedly titled Lesuire Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry, which is probably one of the worst titles in gaming yet. According to the listing, the game is slated for release on the 24th of October and will cost $29.99. The listing didn’t contain any more information about the game beyond the release date, price and title, not even a publisher or developer were listed.
Originally the brainchild of Al Lowe, the first Leisure Suit Larry games broke the boundaries of what could be accepted in a mainstream game. These point-and-click adventure games follow Larry Laffer on a mission to seduce various women, most of his attempts usually end up unsuccessful. Recent attempts to revive the franchise have proven, to put it lightly, unsuccessful.
