With the release of last year’s Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and the upcoming Crash Team Racing remaster, fans of the furry mascot have been spoiled for choice. And for those that want to own more Crash merchandise, besides the games, NECA has revealed a new addition to their line of Crash Bandicoot figures.
The 7″ Deluxe Jet Pack figure sports a brand new head sculpt, although it still uses the same body as previous Crash figure releases. First seen in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, the jetpack plays a pivotal role in some of the levels in the game. The jetpack is easily removable, although Crash’s awesome looking goggles aren’t.
Of course, as with most NECA figures, Crash has more than enough articulation for posing him in all kinds of action poses. But one issue I have with the figure is that it doesn’t seem to come with a stand for posing it as if Crash is soaring through the air.
Previously, NECA released a classic Crash figure, as well as one sporting a Jetboard (that’s basically a suped-up hoverboard). NECA also revealed that they will be releasing a Scuba Gear Crash figure in the near future and possibly some additional characters from the game.
The 7″ Deluxe Jet Pack Crash Bandicoot figure will be available soon for purchase.
